About the Fluke 15B+ Digital Multimeter
The 4404210 digital multimeter is the Fluke 15B+ ESP, a handheld digital multimeter for general electrical and electronic troubleshooting. It measures AC and DC voltage to 1000 V and AC and DC current to 10 A, with resistance ranges to 40 megohms, plus capacitance, continuity and diode test, and a data-hold function for readings taken in awkward positions. Basic accuracy is 0.5 percent plus 3 counts on DC voltage and 1.0 percent plus 3 counts on AC voltage. The display is a 4000-count LCD with a bright white backlight that updates three times per second. The instrument is rated CAT III 600 V and built to IEC 61010-1 and IEC 61010-2-030, with an IP40 enclosure. It does not offer frequency or temperature measurement, which are functions of the 17B+ in the same family.

Typical applications
This meter is used for routine checks on electrical equipment and appliances, verifying voltage at outlets, switches and distribution points, tracing continuity in harnesses and control panels, and checking components on the bench. The CAT III 600 V rating covers fixed installation work downstream of the main distribution board. As supplied it includes TL75 test leads, two AA batteries and the user manual.
