The B24B-PUDSS-1 LF SN 24 pin 2×12 header is the 24-contact member of the JST PUD 2.0 mm double-row wire-to-board system. It presents 24 through-hole contacts in two rows of twelve inside a shrouded, straight (vertical) moulding, and mates with the corresponding PUD crimp receptacle housing, latching with an audible click. At this position count the header concentrates a full harness interface — a dozen circuit pairs — into a footprint only a little over 24 mm of row length, which is the main reason the high-density PUD format is chosen over single-row 2 mm headers. Distributor listings for the part give tin-plated (LF)(SN) contact finish, and the -1 suffix indicates the moulding with a PCB locating boss for positive registration on the board. SMT variants exist in the same series; this part is the through-hole version.
