About the MR30-FB 3-Pin Female DC Connector, Solder
The MR30-FB DC power connector is an AMASS three-pin female connector from the MR30 series, supplied with solder cups for direct wire attachment. Contacts are gold-plated brass and the insulator body is nylon with a UL94 V-0 flame rating. AMASS publishes a continuous current rating of 15 A with a peak capacity of 30 A, a rated voltage of 500 V DC, and a durability of 1,000 mating cycles. Recommended cable is 18 AWG with an overall diameter of about 2.8 mm, and the recommended soldering condition is 400 °C for three seconds. The three-pole keyed arrangement is the format normally used between a brushless motor and its speed controller: the three phases sit in one housing that cannot be mated in the wrong orientation, which removes the loose individual bullet connectors and heatshrink that otherwise carry the motor phases.
