About the Innotec P0170275 Easy Gasket, 275 ml
Innotec Easy Gasket 275ml P0170275 is a solvent-free, synthetic-rubber gasket maker supplied in a 275 ml pressurised can (Innotec article 01.1407.0000). It is applied as a pasty bead to form gaskets in place, or to support existing gaskets and seals, on assemblies such as gearboxes, drive-shaft and crankshaft covers, sumps and ignition or clutch covers. The cured material is highly elastic — roughly 380% elongation at break, hardness of about 17 Shore A and tensile strength of about 1.7 N/mm² — and withstands service temperatures from −50 °C to +200 °C, with short-term peaks to 270 °C. The manufacturer’s technical sheet lists very good UV and water resistance, good solvent and acid resistance, adhesion to metal, glass, paper, cork, aluminium, rubber and most plastics, skin formation in about 6 minutes and cure of roughly 2 mm in 24 hours. It is not suitable for applications where the product is immersed in petrol.

Typical applications
Easy Gasket is used to form gaskets in place, or reinforce existing ones, during maintenance of engines, gearboxes and covers on vehicles, boats, motorcycles and industrial plant. Parts sealed with it can later be separated and the residue removed relatively easily, which suits components that are opened periodically for inspection or overhaul.
