About the RJX2529 Carbon Fibre Tube, 25x22x1000 mm
The RJX2529-25x22x1000mm 3K Carbon Fiber Round Tube is an RJX Hobby carbon-fibre tube with a 25 mm outside diameter, 22 mm inside diameter (1.5 mm wall) and 1000 mm length. It is produced with a 3K carbon-fibre weave — tow bundles of 3,000 filaments — giving the familiar visible twill surface, and RJX lists its tubes in this diameter range as roll-wrapped construction, a lay-up method that yields a lighter, stiffer tube than pultrusion for a given wall thickness. Carbon-fibre tube of this section combines low mass with high stiffness, which is why it is a standard structural element in unmanned-aircraft and lightweight mechanical construction. Cutting to length and hole drilling are carried out by the user with appropriate abrasive tooling and dust control.

Typical applications
Tubes of 25 mm OD are used as motor-arm booms, tail booms, landing-gear members and payload rails on multirotor and fixed-wing UAV airframes, and as light structural spars in robotics, camera rigs and test fixtures. The 22 mm bore also allows nesting with smaller tubes or internal cable routing along the member.
