About the Stainless Steel Square Tube 304, 40
This Stainless Steel Square Tube 304 40 x 40 x 2 mm is a square hollow section in grade 304 stainless steel, supplied in 6 m lengths with a hairline finish. Grade 304 is the most widely used austenitic stainless steel (18% chromium / 8% nickel type), combining corrosion resistance with good formability and weldability for structural and architectural work. The 40 x 40 mm section with a 2 mm wall gives a stiff, square-cornered member that fabricates cleanly into frames and balustrade posts. A hairline finish is a fine, directional brushed surface applied for visible architectural and equipment work: it presents a uniform satin appearance and disguises the light handling marks that show readily on brighter finishes. Lengths are supplied at 6 m; confirm cutting, quantity and packing requirements in your RFQ so transport and handling can be quoted accurately.
