The Traco Power TMDC 20-2412 Module DC-DC 24VIN 1-OUT 12V converter is a 20 W encapsulated DC-DC module from the TMDC 20 series. Per the official Traco Power datasheet, it accepts an ultra-wide 4:1 input of 9–36 VDC (24 VDC nominal) and delivers a single regulated 12 VDC output at up to 1670 mA, with 91% typical efficiency. The series is built in a fully encapsulated low-profile plastic case for chassis mounting with a screw terminal block, provides 2500 VDC input-to-output isolation, and operates from −40 °C to +90 °C. It requires no minimum load, includes an internal input filter for EN 55032 class A conducted emissions, and carries continuous short-circuit protection with automatic recovery plus overload and overvoltage protection. A power-good LED and remote on/off input are standard, and an optional DIN-rail mounting kit (TMP-MK1) is available. Certified to IEC/UL 62368-1.
