About the DW0892G Laser Detector, Green Beam, DeWalt
The DW0892G LASER DETECTOR GREEN is a DeWalt line-laser detector that locates the beam of a green line laser in conditions where the projected line itself is hard to see, particularly outdoors and over longer working distances. The detector indicates beam position on a back-lit LCD and through an audible signal with adjustable volume, and DeWalt quotes detection accuracy of 1.5 mm at 30 m. Top-mounted magnets allow attachment to ceiling track or steel studs, and a heavy-duty quick-release clamp is included for mounting on a grade rod. An automatic shut-off powers the unit down after five minutes of inactivity to conserve the included 9 V battery. It is used together with compatible DeWalt green line lasers for levelling, alignment and grading tasks indoors and out.
