The Harwin M80-8890805 is a Datamate L-Tek female cable connector in a 4+4 (8-way) dual-in-line configuration on the Datamate 2 mm pitch system. It is supplied as a kit of a fully shrouded housing plus loose crimp contacts that insert from the rear once crimped. The M80-889 body style uses Harwin’s large-bore crimp contacts for 22 AWG wire. The contacts are machined from beryllium copper with a 4-finger mating design, a construction Harwin rates for extreme temperature ranges and high vibration and shock; the shrouded, polarised housing protects contacts and prevents mis-mating. Datamate is Harwin’s high-reliability 2 mm connector family used where a compact footprint must survive harsh mechanical environments.
