About the D1005SGT Hitec Giant Scale Servo
The Hitec D1005SGT Giant Scale Industrial Servo is an ultra-giant digital servo from Hitec’s D-Series, built around a 32-bit programmable microcontroller with a 12-bit ADC giving 4,096-step resolution. Hitec lists maximum torque of 110 kg-cm and speed of 0.19 s/60° across its 11.1-14.8 V high-voltage operating range (3S-4S LiPo compatible). The drivetrain uses a cored carbon-brush motor driving a gear train of three steel gears and one metal-plastic gear, housed in an aluminium alloy case on dual ball bearings, with a 15-tooth 8 mm spline output and IP54 dust and splash resistance. The unit weighs 310 g and measures 88 x 33 x 73 mm. As a programmable servo, endpoints, direction, speed and failsafe behaviour can be configured with Hitec’s programming ecosystem.

Typical applications
