Overview
The EV8049S-U-00A is an evaluation board from Monolithic Power Systems built around the MP8049S, a quad-channel power half-bridge (dual full-bridge) driver in a 40-lead 5 x 5 mm QFN package. The board lets engineers exercise the device over its 5 V to 26 V input range with ±5.5 A peak output current, and demonstrates its use as the stereo bridge-tied-load output stage of a Class-D audio amplifier, including its shutdown and standby modes and fault reporting.
