Bossard article 1081667 is a hexagon socket set screw with a flat point in M2.5 x 3 mm, full thread, A2 stainless. The flat point form bears on a flat rather than biting into the shaft, so screws of this type are used to locate collars, hubs and small gears where the mating surface must not be marked.
