Description
Coaxial Cable, RG-316, SMA Right-Angle Female to MMCX Right-Angle Male, 50 Ohm, 0.3 m, 3 G — BOLTON SKU 70656.
About the Coaxial Cable RG-316 SMA Right-Angle Female
This is a made-to-order cable coaxial rg_316 sma right-angle assembly: a 0.3 m length of RG-316 terminated in a right-angle SMA female at one end and a right-angle MMCX male at the other, in a 50 ohm system. RG-316 is the miniature PTFE-dielectric coaxial type, built with a silver-plated copper-clad steel centre conductor, a silver-plated copper braid screen and an FEP jacket over a nominal 2.5 mm outside diameter. That construction is what gives the cable its usable range to around 3 GHz and its wide operating temperature window of roughly −55 °C to +200 °C, and it is why RG-316 is common in instrumentation and airborne or vehicle-mounted RF looms where routing space is tight. Both connector ends are right-angle bodies, so the assembly is intended to exit close to a panel or board face rather than project straight out.

Typical applications
Short right-angle-to-right-angle jumpers of this kind link an antenna or panel bulkhead to a board-mounted MMCX port inside a compact enclosure, where a straight connector would foul the lid or the next card. The 0.3 m length is a within-enclosure or rack-panel run rather than an inter-equipment cable. The PTFE and FEP construction suits installations that run hot or that sit near power electronics, and the miniature diameter allows the loom to be dressed tightly around internal structure.
