About the T0054104699 Weller ET Soldering Tip Set
The T0054104699 soldering tip set is Weller’s five-piece ET-series pack, supplied as genuine Weller consumables for the WEP70 soldering pencil and the WE1010 station that uses it. ET tips are built on a copper core for heat transfer, with an iron-plated working face to resist erosion from solder and a chrome-plated shank behind it so that solder does not creep up the tip. The tip bore includes a sensor hole with a stainless steel liner, which is how the iron’s temperature sensor sits close to the working face and keeps the control loop responsive. Supplying the shapes as a set gives a bench a working spread of geometries from one order rather than sourcing each tip individually, which is the usual approach when a station is first commissioned or when a repair cell is being restocked.
