Description
TS101 Smart Programmable Soldering Iron 90W PD with BC2 Tip — BOLTON SKU 62666.
About the TS101 Programmable Soldering Iron, 90 W PD
The TS101 is a compact, programmable soldering iron with dual power inputs: USB-C Power Delivery and a DC5525 barrel jack accepting 9–24 V. Maximum output power is 90 W (USB-C PD3.1; standard PD3.0 input supports lower power, with 90 W PD operation enabled via firmware). The adjustable temperature range spans 50–400 °C, and the iron can reach 400 °C in approximately 9 seconds under adequate supply power. An OLED display and button interface allow direct temperature setting and monitoring, and the iron accepts interchangeable tips — this unit ships with the BC2 (bevel) tip fitted. The flexible power options allow bench use from a PD supply or field use from a battery pack or vehicle supply.

Typical applications
Portable smart irons of this type serve electronics assembly and repair on benches and in the field — cable and connector work, PCB rework and UAV electronics maintenance where mains-powered soldering stations are impractical. The wide DC input range makes it usable from portable power sources during line-side or deployed maintenance tasks.
Frequently asked questions
Can the TS101 run from a power bank? Yes — it accepts USB-C Power Delivery input, with deliverable wattage depending on the source; full 90 W operation requires a PD3.1 supply.
