The T0054465199N RTW1 soldering tip set is a matched pair of Weller RTW 1 tweezer cartridges: a 45° bent conical geometry with a 0.4 mm point, supplied as a set because heated tweezers need both arms to be identical. RTW cartridges are the tweezer members of Weller’s active-tip family, with heater and sensor built into each cartridge, and they fit the WMRT and WXMT micro desoldering tweezers. The tips are held parallel in the cartridge so that the two faces meet squarely on the component, which is what allows a small part to be gripped and lifted without rotating it out of alignment. The 45° bend keeps the operator’s hand and the tool body clear of the board while the points stay flat to the pads. At 0.4 mm the point size is aimed at the smallest passives rather than at general SMD work, and the range is suitable for lead-free processes.

Typical applications
A 0.4 mm conical pair is used to lift and place the smallest chip components — 0402 and below — and to rework individual two-terminal parts crowded between taller neighbours.
