Overview
The S-MX1E-R-V2-SDI1-ISR is the enhanced-chassis (v2) appliance version of the Haivision Makito X1 Rugged video encoder, an ultra-compact, SWaP-optimised H.265/HEVC and H.264/AVC encoder for real-time low-latency streaming of full-motion video. It accepts a single SDI or composite source and encodes it on two cores simultaneously, with KLV and CoT metadata handling. A 28 VDC sister model (S-MX1E-R-V2-28V-SDI1-ISR) is listed alongside it in the same documentation.
Applications
Low-latency full-motion video contribution from small unmanned platforms, vehicle-mounted sensors and man-portable kits where size, weight and power are constrained, feeding ISR exploitation and situational-awareness systems.
