Description
4X4 MIMO 63° Sector Antenna, Slant L/R Polarized, 1.25 – 2.0 GHz, 9.7 dBi Gain — BOLTON SKU 54795.
About the 1055-333 4×4 MIMO Sector Antenna 63deg, 9.7
The 1055-333 MIMO sector antenna is a Southwest Antennas four-port directional sector antenna covering 1.25 to 2.0 GHz (1250-2000 MHz) with 9.7 dBi of gain across a 63° sector. It carries four RF ports, each feeding its own radiating element, and the elements are slant left and slant right polarised. That arrangement is what allows a 4×4 MIMO radio to run four independent spatial streams from one antenna: the polarisation and spatial separation between elements keeps the streams decorrelated enough for the receiver to resolve them. A sector antenna concentrates radiated energy into a defined azimuth wedge rather than radiating in all directions, so for a given transmit power it delivers more usable signal along the intended path and less interference elsewhere. The wide 1.25-2.0 GHz span covers L-band and lower S-band allocations used by tactical MANET and broadband data radios.

Typical applications
Four-port sector antennas of this type are installed at fixed or relocatable nodes in MANET and mesh networks, at ground control stations for unmanned systems, and on masts serving a defined coverage arc. The 63° beamwidth suits sectorised site designs in which three or more antennas are arranged to build all-round coverage while retaining the throughput benefit of 4×4 MIMO. The 1.25-2.0 GHz span makes it applicable to L-band and lower S-band data links.
