Overview
AirDraw 2 is an Airtech vacuum bagging film embossed on one side with a cracked-ice pattern. The raised pattern creates a network of air passageways under the bag so air is drawn out rapidly under vacuum, and the film is formulated with extra stiffness to keep those paths open; Airtech states it is not affected by environmental conditions and does not soften in high humidity. It is intended primarily for ply compaction and removes the need for a separate breather layer in that use, and it can be heat-seamed for larger bags. Reference AD23120225EMB identifies a roll of this film; the roll width, length and gauge for this reference are confirmed against the Airtech product listing at quotation.

Applications
