About the M0811V2 mould release wax
The M0811V2 mould release wax is the No. 8 2.0 grade of the Miracle Gloss maximum-release paste range, ordered under reference M0811V2CSXX1 and supplied in 311 g cans, twelve cans to a case. It is a premium blend of imported waxes formulated to release GRP, FRP and other composite mouldings, and is intended in particular for plugs, new moulds and production tooling rather than for finished parts. The 2.0 formulation is applied and then left to haze; once it has hazed it is described as extremely easy to wipe off, which shortens the combined application and removal time compared with heavier paste release waxes. This is the conventional haze-and-buff grade of the range, as distinct from the 3.0 grade, which is removed without hazing. A complete case contains 3,732 g of product.

Typical applications
The 2.0 grade is specified where a conventional haze-and-wipe paste wax is preferred for GRP and FRP mould preparation. Typical work includes sealing and waxing new moulds and plugs before first use, and maintaining release on production moulds in boatbuilding, composite panel and enclosure fabrication. It is also used on tooling that has been stored between runs and needs re-waxing before the next pull.
