Description
Overview
TC160 Tool Cast is an aluminium-filled, high service temperature epoxy casting resin from Easy Composites, made for cast resin tooling such as two-part hot-press compression moulds used to mould and cure prepregs. Cured and post-cured, the material holds its hardness at elevated temperature and shows very low shrinkage, so cast blocks keep their shape while parts are formed or cured against them. It is supplied as a 5.5 kg kit with resin and hardener in the correct proportions. Values below are typical datasheet figures after room-temperature cure and post-cure.

Applications
