Description
Combination Spanner 19 mm — BOLTON SKU 72576.
About the Combination Spanner 19 mm
A combination spanner is double-ended: one end is an open jaw that slides laterally onto a fastener, and the opposite end is a closed ring end that surrounds the hexagon completely. Both ends carry the same nominal size, so a single tool covers one fastener size in two different access conditions — the open jaw where a component or pipe blocks approach from above, and the ring end where the fastener can be reached from above and the full six or twelve points of engagement are wanted to reduce the risk of rounding corners. As a combination spanner size 19mm, this item fits hexagon bolt heads and nuts whose width across flats measures 19 mm; it does not substitute for the adjacent 18 mm or 21 mm sizes. The ring end is normally cranked away from the shank so the hand clears the work surface. Listed here as an individual tool rather than as part of a graduated set.

Typical applications
The 19 mm size is a common mid-range fastener size on structural brackets, mounting frames, vehicle and trailer hardware, pipe clamps and machine guarding. The open jaw suits inline unions and fittings where a ring cannot be dropped over the fastener, while the ring end is the preferred choice for the final tightening pass on the same 19 mm hexagon. Typically ordered alongside neighbouring sizes to complete a maintenance tool roll.
