About the XY6020L DC Converter, 0-60V 20A 1200W
The XY6020L DC voltage converter module is a non-isolated step-down (buck) regulator with digitally set constant-voltage and constant-current control. It accepts a DC input from 6 V to 70 V and produces an adjustable output from 0 V to 60 V, rated at up to 20 A and 1200 W, with the output always required to be below the input for buck operation. Both the voltage and the current limit are set from the front panel and shown on the on-board LCD, so the module can be operated either as a programmable bench supply, as a current-limited battery or solar charger, or as a constant-current LED driver. The controller board and the output driver stage are supplied as separate assemblies, which allows the display and controls to be panel-mounted away from the power section during integration. A set of fixed output presets — 5, 9, 12, 24, 36, 48 and 60 V — can be selected on the board, and a TTL / RS485 UART MODBUS interface option allows remote control of one or several units.

Typical applications
Modules of this rating are used to build adjustable bench and rig supplies from an existing DC source, to derive a regulated rail from a vehicle, battery or solar input, and to charge battery packs where a current limit as well as a voltage ceiling is required. The constant-current mode also suits driving high-power LED arrays and heater or load elements at a fixed current. Because the converter is non-isolated, input and output share a common reference and the module must be integrated behind appropriate fusing and enclosure protection for the application.
