About the Laversab Model 6150 Digital Air Data
The Laversab 6150 Model 6150 Digital tester is a portable, mains-powered pitot-static test set used to pressurise and evacuate an aircraft’s static and Pitot systems for leak checking and air data verification. Altitude is simulated from -2,000 ft to 50,000 ft with 1 ft resolution, quoted at ±24 ft accuracy at 35,000 ft, while the Pitot channel covers 1.0 to 60 inHg to give airspeed simulation up to 500 knots — specified at ±2.0 knots at 50 knots and tightening to ±0.2 knots at 500 knots. Rate of climb and descent can be driven to ±10,000 ft/min at 1 ft/min resolution with ±1% accuracy. The unit accepts 90 to 260 VAC at 47 to 440 Hz and draws 50 VA, so it works on aircraft ground power as well as standard mains. It measures 22 × 14 × 9 inches and weighs 18 lb. Units can be supplied with a certificate of conformity and current calibration certificate on request.
