Description

Pixhawk 6X (ICM-45686) — BOLTON SKU 57422.

About the Pixhawk 6X ICM-45686

The pixhawk 6x icm-45686 pixhawk autopilot is a modular flight controller built around an STM32H753 32-bit Arm Cortex-M7 flight-management unit running at 480 MHz with 2 MB of flash and 1 MB of RAM, alongside an STM32F103 Cortex-M3 I/O co-processor. This revision carries three ICM-45686 inertial measurement units with BalancedGyro technology, giving triple-redundant gyro and accelerometer data, plus ICP20100 and BMP388 barometers and a BMM150 magnetometer. Interfacing covers 16 PWM outputs, four serial ports, two GPS ports, two CAN buses, I2C, SPI, 100 Mbps Ethernet and two power inputs with SMBus, along with PPM, S.Bus and Spektrum/DSM receiver inputs. This configuration is supplied with the Standard v2A baseboard, an M10 GPS module and a PM02D power module.

Typical applications

Triple ICM-45686 redundancy and dual barometers make this variant suited to airframes where a single IMU fault must not end the flight, so it is commonly specified for larger fixed-wing and multirotor UAS rather than light hobby platforms. The two CAN buses and Ethernet port support distributed avionics — CAN-connected GNSS, ESCs and payload computers on the same vehicle. The -40 °C to +85 °C rating allows operation in both high-altitude cold and hot-climate ground conditions.
