M22759/16 (published as SAE AS22759/16) is the general-purpose slash sheet of the M22759 fluoropolymer-insulated aerospace wire family. The construction is a stranded tin-plated copper conductor with a single layer of extruded ETFE insulation, rated 600 V rms and 150 °C, with a published operating range of -55 °C to +150 °C. ETFE is used because it combines chemical and radiation resistance with mechanical toughness and holds tight diameter tolerances, which matters when a bundle has to pass through a defined route. In the part number, 10 is the conductor size in AWG — a heavy gauge normally reserved for power feeds rather than signal runs — and the trailing 9 is the MIL-STD-681 colour designator for white, matching the WHT token in the item description.
