About the 120-8552-100 Circular Connector
The 120-8552-100 is a cable-mount plug from ITT Cannon’s Mini Sure-Seal series of miniature sealed circular connectors. The series uses a one-piece moulded body that achieves an IP67 ingress-protection rating in the mated condition, protecting the contact system against dust and temporary immersion. This part is the 2-contact plug variant, with crimp-terminated copper-alloy contacts and a keyed mating interface so the plug can only be engaged in the correct orientation. Distributor listings quote an operating temperature range of −40 °C to +105 °C. Mini Sure-Seal connectors were developed for vehicle and industrial equipment that needs compact, environmentally sealed point-to-point connections, and the family is specified against automotive and industrial requirements covering vibration, shock, salt-spray exposure and low contact resistance. Crimp contacts appropriate to the conductor size are selected and ordered separately where required.
