M23053/5-207-C is a heat-shrinkable insulation sleeving designation within the SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/5 specification family (formerly MIL-DTL-23053/5), which covers flexible, crosslinked polyolefin tubing for electrical insulation. Tubing in this family is supplied in an expanded state and recovers to a smaller diameter when heat is applied, with a nominal 2:1 shrink ratio, making it suitable for insulating wire and cable, providing strain relief, and protecting splices, terminations and component bodies. This dash number is a thin-wall, fluid-resistant grade with a supplied size of 3/8 in and a clear finish, rated 125 °C as designated.
