About the STTC-117 Soldering Equipment
The METCAL STTC-117 is a soldering tip cartridge from Metcal’s STTC series, the standard cartridge family for the MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 SmartHeat soldering and rework systems. STTC cartridges combine tip and heater in one replaceable assembly; SmartHeat technology automatically adjusts power to the thermal demand of each joint, with no operator temperature setting or calibration required.
