About the XT60E-F Panel-Mount Connector, Female, S Soldering
XT60E-F is the panel-mount female connector in the XT60 family of two-pole DC power connectors, a format originated by AMASS and used widely for battery and power distribution in UAV, RC and light electric systems. The connector carries gold-plated brass bullet contacts in a nylon housing (UL94 V-0 flammability rating) and is designed for solder termination, with 12 AWG the manufacturer-recommended wire size. Distributor data for the AMASS part lists a 30 A continuous rating with 60 A instantaneous capability at up to 500 V, and an operating temperature range of −20 °C to +120 °C. The E-series body adds mounting provision so the connector can be fixed through an enclosure or airframe panel with screws, and it intermates with standard XT60 male plugs (AMASS XT60U-M).
