This TE Connectivity RNF-100-1 2-X Heat-Shrink Tubing (catalogue style RNF-100-1/2-X) is a 1.2 m length of Raychem RNF-100 general-purpose heat-shrink tubing in yellow. RNF-100 is a flame-retardant, flexible polyolefin tubing with a 2:1 shrink ratio: this 1/2-inch size is supplied at 12.7 mm minimum inside diameter and recovers to approximately 6.4 mm when heated. TE publishes an operating temperature range of −55 °C to +135 °C and a 600 V rating for the RNF-100 family, which is known for good physical, chemical and electrical properties with resistance to abrasion and common fluids. It is used for insulating, jacketing, colour-coding and light mechanical protection of wires, splices and terminations, conforming to irregular shapes as it recovers.
