Description
H4P-PA66HS-BK P-Clip Cable Clamp, ID 8 mm, PA66HS — BOLTON SKU 55375.
About the H4P-PA66HS-BK P-Clip Cable Clamp ID
The H4P is the 8.0 mm member of HellermannTyton’s HP-series plastic P-clamps, catalogued as article 211-60003 and supplied in packs of 100. It is a closed clamp: the loop is a continuous moulded ring rather than an open jaw, so the cable is captured and cannot escape if the fixing loosens. Fixing is by a single screw through a 4.2 mm hole, with the hole centres 10.0 mm from the loop, and the clamp is 10.0 mm wide with a 1.2 mm wall and a 1.0 mm radius at the edges — the radiused edges are there to stop the clamp chafing or cutting into cable insulation. The material is heat-stabilised polyamide 6.6 (PA66HS) in black, rated UL 94 V2, and the clamp is specified from -40 °C to +105 °C. It is RoHS compliant and ELV compliant, and is not UV-stabilised. No cable tie is needed to complete the fixing.

Typical applications
An 8.0 mm closed P-clamp is sized for small multi-core cables, single heavy conductors, pneumatic tubing and thin hydraulic lines that need to be anchored to structure at intervals. The polyamide body is much lighter than an equivalent aluminium clamp, which is why plastic P-clamps of this type are used on aircraft and aerospace installations where mass is controlled but a firm fixing is still required. Permanent and semi-permanent routing on brackets, panels and frames is the normal use, working to a drilled 4.2 mm hole.
