About the 1060-16-0622 Crimp Pin Contact 1.5 mm
1060-16-0622 is a size 16 crimp pin contact from the TE Connectivity DEUTSCH terminal range, used across DEUTSCH DT-family and other size 16 contact cavities. It is a stamped-and-formed contact with a pin (male) mating face of 1.5 mm (0.062 in) diameter, manufactured from copper alloy with nickel plating. The crimp barrel accepts wire sizes from 20 AWG to 16 AWG (approximately 0.5–1.0 mm²), and distributor data lists a 13 A current rating and an insulation-diameter accommodation of approximately 1.4–2.5 mm (0.055–0.100 in). Stamped-and-formed contacts of this type are supplied on reels or as cut strip for high-volume crimping with applicator tooling, and mate with the corresponding 1062-16-0622 socket contact. The contact is terminated by crimping and is removable from its housing with standard size 16 extraction tooling.
