HellermannTyton 170-81100 HEGPETFRX03 cable management sleeving is a flame-retardant braided sleeve made from polyester (PET). It is supplied in black with a grey identification yarn woven into the braid, at a nominal diameter of 3 mm, and covers bundles from 2 mm to 6 mm; the open braid expands over connectors and irregular shapes during installation and then relaxes back onto the bundle. The reel length is 200 m. The material is described as self-extinguishing and halogen-free, is rated to FMVSS 302 Type B and UL 1441 VW-1, and carries UL recognition under file E197993. The operating temperature range runs from minus 50 degrees C to plus 150 degrees C, with a melting point of plus 250 degrees C, and the product is RoHS and ELV compliant. Braided PET also provides abrasion resistance where a loom bears against structure or fasteners.
