About the 811-1723 Cable Management
RS PRO 811-1723 is a self-adhesive cable tie mount with a 12.5 mm x 12.5 mm square base, moulded in black PA66 (nylon 6.6) and accepting cable ties up to 3.2 mm wide. The mount provides a fixed anchor point for a tie so that a bundle can be routed and held against a surface, and its adhesive backing allows it to be applied without drilling — useful in enclosures, panels and machinery where a fixing hole would be impractical or undesirable. RS documents the nylon 6.6 material as classified to UL 94V-2 for flammability. This BOLTON line is listed as supplied 50 pieces per bag. Adhesive-backed mounts of this type depend on surface preparation: manufacturers specify application to a clean, dry, smooth surface, and a screw-fixed or tie-through mount is normally preferred where vibration or elevated temperature is expected.

Typical applications
