Description
GEPRC Storm 6S 1400mAh 120C LiPo Battery — BOLTON SKU 58192.
About the GEPRC Storm 6S 1400mAh 120C LiPo
The GEPRC Storm 6S battery is a lithium-polymer pack from GEPRC’s Storm series in a 6S arrangement — six cells in series, giving a nominal pack voltage of 22.2 V. Rated capacity is 1400 mAh, so stored energy is approximately 31 Wh. The 120C figure is the manufacturer’s continuous discharge rating expressed as a multiple of rated capacity; at 1.4 Ah that corresponds to roughly 168 A. A pack with this combination — high voltage, modest capacity, very high C rating — is built for burst current rather than endurance, deliberately trading stored energy for the ability to deliver large currents without the pack voltage collapsing under load. As with any series pack, cell voltages have to be kept matched, so charging is done on a balance charger configured for six cells, and packs are best held at a partial state of charge rather than fully charged when they will stand idle.

Typical applications
The 6S 1400 mAh format is the mainstream choice for 5-inch class racing and freestyle multirotors, where a short, high-power flight is the design case rather than long endurance. The high C rating suits airframes running aggressive throttle inputs, and the 22.2 V nominal bus reduces the current drawn for a given output power compared with lower-voltage packs, which eases losses in wiring and connectors. Packs of this specification are also used on propulsion test benches where a repeatable high-current source is needed for short runs.
