About the GHR-05V-S Receptacle Housing, 5-Pos 1.25mm
The GHR-05V-S is a five-circuit receptacle housing from the JST GH series, a 1.25 mm pitch wire-to-board connector system with a secure locking function, intended for internal connections in electrical and electronic equipment where packing density matters. The housing is moulded in PBT in natural (white) and takes JST GH crimp contacts — ordered separately — which are inserted after crimping to build a discrete-wire cable assembly. It mates with the five-circuit GH headers: BM05B-GHS-TBT in the SMT top-entry style and SM05B-GHS-TB in the SMT side-entry style. JST rates the series at 1.0 A AC/DC on AWG #26 conductors and 50 V AC/DC across a −40 °C to +105 °C temperature range, with initial contact resistance of 30 mΩ maximum and insulation resistance of 100 MΩ minimum. Series features include a large outer latch for positive lock, low-insertion-force contacts with a tactile click, and housings shaped to prevent incorrect mating.

Typical applications
