About the XT-60 Male Bullet Connector Power Plug
The XT-60 Male Bullet Connector Power Plug is the male half of the widely used XT60 two-pole DC power interface. The connector pairs cylindrical bullet-style contacts with a keyed, wedge-shaped insulating housing that only mates one way, preventing reverse-polarity connection of battery leads. The XT60 pattern was originated by AMASS, whose genuine parts are specified with gold-plated brass contacts, a polyamide (nylon) housing and a 30 A continuous current rating at up to 500 V DC; ratings for other manufacturers’ XT60-pattern parts should be confirmed against their own datasheets. Wires are terminated by soldering into the contact cups at the rear of the plug. Contact and housing quality varies between makers of XT60-pattern parts, so the offered manufacturer is confirmed at quotation.
