About the SS-39200-027 Shielded RJ45 Plug, 8P8C
The SS-39200-027 RJ45 modular plug is a Stewart Connector (Bel) 8 position, 8 contact cable-mount plug rated to Cat6a and shielded on all sides for 360 degrees of screening against external noise. It is designed for large-diameter horizontal cabling: the plug accepts conductor diameters of 0.042 to 0.048 in on solid or stranded cable, with a cable outer diameter of 0.270 to 0.295 in. A conductor load bar and wire aligner set the eight conductors in the correct order and position before crimping, and a snag-less strain-relief boot protects the latch tab during pulls through trunking and patch fields. The clear polycarbonate housing carries a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, and the plug’s dimensions and tolerances follow the TIA-1096 modular interface standard.
