About the B12B-PUDSS-1 12-Pin Header, 2×6, 2mm Pitch
The B12B-PUDSS-1(LF)(SN) 12 pin header is the board-mounted half of JST’s PUD wire-to-board system. It presents twelve contacts in two rows of six on a 2 mm pitch, in a shrouded top-entry body with a locating boss that positions the part on the PCB before through-hole soldering. The PUD series is a crimp-style, double-row range with a positive locking device, and the header shroud is shaped so that the latch on the mating receptacle can still be released when the header is surrounded by a case wall no taller than the header itself — a practical detail on enclosed assemblies. Each contact is rated at 3 A over an operating range of −25 °C to +85 °C. The housing is glass-filled nylon; contacts are copper alloy with tin plating. The (LF)(SN) suffix denotes the lead-free tin-plated finish.
