Description
BVU6-6 Ball Valve Return, Union Straight — BOLTON SKU 66570.
About the BVU6-6 Pisco Ball Valve, Straight Union
The BVU6-6 ball valve union is a Pisco shut-off valve from the BVU series, configured as a straight union with a 6 mm push-in tube port at each end. It is fitted directly in line in a pneumatic circuit and turned by hand to open or close the flow path, so a branch, gauge or actuator can be isolated without breaking the tubing run or fitting additional adaptors. Distributor listings describe the body as nickel-plated brass with a manual handle. Because both ports take the same 6 mm tube, the valve drops into an existing 6 mm line: the tube is cut, the two ends pushed in, and the joint is complete without threads or sealant. Pisco publishes an effective cross-sectional area for each size in the BVU range, so the flow figure, working pressure range and temperature limits for this size should be taken from the current Pisco catalogue at quotation stage.

Typical applications
In-line union ball valves isolate individual actuators, gauges or test points during commissioning and maintenance of pneumatic systems, so a single leg can be shut off without venting the whole circuit. A 6 mm size suits control air, instrument lines and small cylinder feeds. Push-in ports let the valve be added to an existing run without cutting threads or reworking manifolds.
