The S01-02-R Solder Sleeve Shield Terminator is a TE Connectivity Raychem SolderSleeve device that makes a solder-and-seal termination between a cable shield and a ground lead in one heat-recovered operation. The outer sleeve is transparent, heat-shrinkable, radiation-crosslinked polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), allowing visual inspection of the finished joint, and carries a preplaced solder preform of Sn63 per ANSI-J-STD-006 with ROL1 flux per ANSI-J-STD-004. S01-series devices include a thermochromic temperature indicator that changes colour when the assembly has reached solder-wetting temperature, supporting process control and inspection.
