ATUM-8 2-0 Adhesive-Lined Polyolefin Heat-Shrink Tubing (catalogue reference ATUM-8/2-0) belongs to the TE Connectivity Raychem ATUM family of high-shrink-ratio, adhesive-lined tubing. This black size is supplied at 8.0 mm inside diameter and recovers to a maximum of about 2.0 mm — a 4:1 shrink ratio that lets one size accommodate stepped profiles such as a connector backshell tapering to its cable. The tubing wall is irradiated, flame-retardant polyolefin; the internal hot-melt adhesive flows during recovery and bonds to a wide range of plastics, rubbers and metals, forming an environmental seal against moisture and fluids. TE quotes a continuous operating temperature range of -55 to +110 degC for the family. Cut lengths and spool formats are confirmed at quotation.
