The T0054465671N RTW6 soldering tip set is Weller’s RTW 6NWMS pair: a 45° tweezer cartridge at 0.2 mm, finished chrome and specified as non-wettable, in the military-standard (MS) version of the RTW range for WXMT and WMRT micro tweezers. The non-wettable chrome finish is the defining feature — solder will not tin the faces, so the tips grip and heat a component without picking solder up onto themselves. That behaviour is wanted where a part must be held and released cleanly rather than wetted, and it keeps the contact geometry stable through repeated cycles instead of building up a solder fillet on the arm. At 0.2 mm this is the finest size in the family, matched to the smallest packages an operator can realistically handle under magnification. As an active-tip cartridge each arm carries its own heater and sensor, and the pair is supplied as a set so both arms behave identically.

Typical applications
