This washer is the mating size for the M8 socket head cap screws to ISO 4762 and the M8 thin nuts to ISO 10511 listed alongside it, keeping the whole assembly in A4 stainless. Mixing grades across a joint is what usually starts galvanic attack, so the sets are ordered together.
