Description
Dual-Band 3X3 MIMO 67° Sector Antenna, 1.35 – 1.9 GHz & 1.7 – 2.5 GHz, 10.0 dBi Gain — BOLTON SKU 54796.
About the 1055-404 Dual-Band 3×3 MIMO Sector Antenna, 10
The 1055-404 dual-band sector antenna is a Southwest Antennas directional MIMO antenna with a 67° sector beamwidth and 10.0 dBi of gain. It carries three Type-N female ports at 50 ohms, each feeding a discrete radiating element. Two of the elements operate over 1.7 to 2.5 GHz and the third operates over 1.35 to 1.9 GHz, and the three elements are arranged as slant right, vertical and slant left. That lets the antenna serve either a two-port or a three-port radio, and lets a single unit support two frequency bands and three polarisations without adding a second antenna to the mast. Using different polarisations across the elements provides the decorrelation a MIMO receiver needs, while the dual-band element split allows one antenna to cover a lower-band link and an upper-band link at the same site.

Typical applications
This antenna suits nodes that have to operate across both L-band and S-band assignments, such as relocatable relay sites and ground stations working two radio types from one mast position. The 67° sector shape is intended for sectorised coverage layouts on masts and towers rather than for point-to-point shots. Type-N connectors and the three-element layout make it straightforward to integrate with 2×2 or 3×3 MIMO MANET radios.
