About the CB6014CR3M1P Nutplate, M3 x 0.5, Fold Over
The CB6014CR3M1P bonded nutplate is a Click Bond two-lug miniature fold-over nutplate from the CB6014 family. It provides an M3 x 0.5 thread, a nut height of 4.0 mm and an overall length of 16.6 mm, and it is made from stainless steel with an epoxy-primed baseplate. A bonded nutplate creates a captive threaded attachment point on a panel or structure without the drilling and riveting a conventional nutplate requires: the primed baseplate is adhesively bonded to the surface, so the parent material is not perforated and no rivet holes are introduced as stress raisers or leak paths. The fold-over construction allows the nut element to be positioned over its baseplate during installation, and the thread relief in the nut body lets the fastener run through cleanly. The miniature two-lug style keeps the installed footprint small where space around the hole pattern is limited.
