About the GNSS-850 GNSS Antenna

The GNSS-850 satellite navigation antenna is a multi-constellation, multi-band zero-offset antenna specified for kinematic use. Signal coverage spans GPS and QZSS at L1, L2 and L5, the QZSS L6 signal, GLONASS G1, G2 and G3, Galileo E1, E5a, E5b and E6, BeiDou B1, B2 and B3, and IRNSS/NavIC L5. In addition to the core navigation bands, the antenna receives L-Band, which is the channel used to deliver satellite-broadcast correction services to precise-positioning receivers. The zero-offset construction means the antenna phase centre is referenced to the physical mounting datum, removing the need to apply a separate vertical offset when the antenna is set up over a known point and simplifying the site record for a survey mark. The RF interface is a TNC connector, a threaded coaxial connection commonly used on precise-positioning equipment.

Typical applications

Full triple-frequency coverage across five constellations plus NavIC is aimed at RTK and PPP receivers that need as many observable signals as possible to fix quickly under partial sky obstruction. The added L-Band path allows the same antenna to feed a receiver subscribed to a satellite correction service where no ground link is available. Kinematic rating and a zero-offset phase centre suit vehicle, vessel and airborne platform installations where the antenna moves and the mounting datum must be traceable.
