Murata’s BLM18 prefix fixes the 1.6 x 0.8 mm (0603) chip body, and the 300 field gives the rated impedance of 30 ohms measured at 100 MHz. Chip beads are placed in series with supply or signal lines to attenuate high-frequency noise while passing DC with little loss.
