This nut rectangular m6 20x16x3 2mm is a flat, four-sided nut measuring 20 mm by 16 mm with a thickness of 3.2 mm, tapped M6 through the plate and made in 304 stainless steel. A rectangular nut differs from a hexagon nut in how it is held: rather than being gripped by a spanner, its straight parallel sides bear against the walls of a slot, channel or machined recess, so the nut is restrained from turning by the surrounding structure and the fastener can be tightened entirely from the bolt head.
